What is the BlackJack

Historically, it is considered a Blackjack or Twenty-one as a sort of direct predecessor of blackjack. Blackjack is a game within the scope of the casinos aimed at the achievement of twenty points from the sum of the values obtained in the cards during a game. Although its birth as a game has not been set historically, has a long tradition throughout the ages.

The first mention of the game comes from the Spanish picaresque and is in the novel "Rinconetey Cortadillo" by Miguel de Cervantes, in which recounts an episode in which two minor characters play a game of blackjack. In that passage, described the logic pursued by the game is to add a certain amount of points (21) without going over, taking into account the aces represent the number one or eleven. Although the game was developing its reach throughout the centuries, from the seventeenth century until today, the central aspects of the game have been preserved intact.

In the game of blackjack, cards with numbers are worth the number that are printed, each of the figures represent a ten, and finally, the ace can be worth eleven or one depending on the play. To achieve blackjack and automatically be considered the winner, the player must complete the sum of twenty-one with only two cards. As you see, is a game of chance but also luck.

In traditional casinos, blackjack is played around a semicircular table that has the capacity to accommodate seven participants or players. Each player has a locker that is marked on the mat of the table itself and that is where you should place your bet before the start of a given hand. The bet must be made before each hand of play.

The game begins when the bank makes the distribution of two cards for each participant in the game. Each player in turn has the option of standing with the cards you receive or ask for another card. You can never spend the twenty-first because, it loses automatically. The winner is who succeeds in obtaining the highest number without going over the twenty.
